Dream to reality

I qualified as a hairdresser when I was 21, worked in just 1 salon for 7 years which I loved but due to circumstances decided to follow a dream and make it a reality. So December 2016 came and I was signing the dotted line to my own set of keys ready to create my own Salon.

It took 3 months and a lot of hard work (much of which my husband Adam I have to Thank for) but the date was set, February 10th and I wasn’t going to change it. I remember it was a freezing but sunny day, the salon was full of flowers and cards from well wishers as familiar faces started to arrive, “this is it” i thought as i launched the opening of COAST Hair Design. It was that day when I saw the appointment book filling up that I thought I really can make this work, with all the determination and ambition inside me I will make this work.

Now pretty much 4 years on and another 3 stylists beside me, I can see my dream finally becoming what i always wished, a successful well respected Hair Salon in Paignton. I still thrive on bettering the customer experience and always love to adapt my skills more because as we know you never do stop learning, especially when your living your dream.
