How can I book an appointment?
There are many ways in which you are able to book with us, but the most easiest way is to phone us on 01803 558889 and we will be able to sort an appointment out for you promptly.
We know many of you discover us via our social media channels so you could always drop us a message on Facebook or Instagram, however please be mindful that during our opening hours we may not be able to answer your query straight away, but we will get back to you soon as we are free.
Another way of booking is to email us on coasthairdesign@hotmail.com or to simply pop on by the salon following Covid guidelines.
How can I find the salon?
The salon is located on Old Torquay road Paignton, if you are travelling to us via car you can pop our postcode TQ3 2QY into your sat nav or Google maps and it will bring you straight to us. We are located next door to Ocean Wild fish and chips shop which I can highly recommend.
The nearest bus stop is located opposite Sainsbury’s local on Torquay road, you would need to just cross over and take a left and then a right to get onto Old Torquay road. You can always ring us for directions too and we will happily guide you.
What are your prices?
Our prices begin at £17 for a blow dry to £32 for a cut and blow dry, colours start at £32 but to find a full list of our services and how much they cost please take a look at our Services page or feel free to call us and we can let know.
However we do offer a FREE consultation to anyone who wishes to book with us, and it’s during this time that we can give you a more personalised quote for the service you require.
What can I expect when I arrive?
A very warm welcome and friendly smile will greet you upon your arrival to Coast, ready to tend your hair needs. We will make sure you are comfortable and talk through the service we are about to embark on. Once both yourself and your stylist are happy we begin to create your hairstyle for you.
Will I be offered a drink?
At the moment during Covid we are still allowed to offer you a drink but the only difference will be that it’s served to you in a disposable cup. You are also able to bring your own drink into the salon in a travel cup if you prefer.
Are you following Covid guidelines?
Yes, we are following all government guidelines that are currently set out to us. All stylists will be wearing a Mask and either goggles or visor, hand sanitiser is used by all stylists throughout the day, and we throughly clean each styling station and equipment between each Client.
Do I need to follow any guidelines?
The current guidelines state that you need to wear a face covering when visiting the salon, please use the hand sanitiser on arrival and complete our Track and Trace procedure. If you have any of the following symptoms you must cancel your appointment and not attend the salon :
A new persistent cough
A high temperature
Loss or change to your sense of smell or taste
If you are unsure if you should attend or not please call the salon and we can discuss this with you.
Why do I need a colour allergy test?
Your health and wellbeing is a priority. Some people already have or can develop an allergic reaction to hair colour products which can result in hospitalisation.
This precautionary measure helps ensure that we can safely apply Wella colour to your hair without risk of a reaction.
How far in advance do I need to book?
In order to secure your ideal appointment time, please be sure to book your appointment 6-8 weeks in advance. Dates can be changed up to 48 hours if needed.
Evenings and Weekend appointments are our most popular times and we advise to book at least two appointments in advance to secure your preferred slot.
